Description:

Join us for a day away from the hustle and bustle of life, to quietly reflect and be in peace. No experience necessary. Chairs, mats and cushions provided. Includes meditation instruction, sitting, eating and walking meditation, and short teachings. Please bring a sack lunch and a blanket.

Regarding all events: all events are free to the public and will be held at Unity Temple on the Plaza, which is located at, 707 W 47th St, Kansas City, MO 64112, (816) 561-4466. For each event we will seat people up to the rooms maximum occupancy on a frist come first serve basis.All events are centered around educating the public on various buddhist subjects. Unless listed in the events description, absolutely no food or drink is allowed at Unity Temple in the areas that we are going to be holding events(unless specified). We will have a donation box outside of each event that will go towards helping Unity Temple offset some of the maintenance and buidling fees that goes towards the overall operating costs of the weeks events.
